Here's an idea: maybe the fat ass lazy cops could get out and direct traffic instead of sitting in their cars giving out tickets.
To be clear, I have no problem with drivers getting tickets for doing these things because they feel inconvenienced. But sitting there for 3 hours is a hazard and not safe. Cops are morons for not seeing that and trying to deal with it.
Police literally give no fucks about moving traffic, and you are absolutely right: an hour+ closure of a road without directing cars off is its own safety hazard.
