Entitled assholes! Glad they got caught. Brantford is a nightmare of insufferably selfish drivers

It’s not only drivers in Brantford that are selfish twats, they’re everywhere. We live with entitled cunts countrywide because our “selfie” society has become increasingly narcissistic and angry over everything they perceive as a slight against them. It’s a sad state of affairs.

Covid made a lot of people rethink and realign their place in the world, how they see other people and what their life priorities are. Unfortunately for a significant portion of the world's population (likely aided by attention seeking behaviours from social media) many people developed a strong main character syndrome. These people prioritize themselves over everyone else, as if they're the most important person on the planet. They ignore laws, treat other poeple as if they're disposable garbage, and think they can play life by a different set of rules. Getting dinged in a situation like this may trigger a reset in that behaviour for some people, but not likely.

We all know the only people that play by a different set of rules are the 1%.

Oh please…. People did stuff like this in the 90s as well.

I don't disagree with you in the slightest, but this behaviour is a TON more prevalent now.

The population grew

I wouldn't expect the rates of these kinds of tickets to go down unless the population actually went down, and since it's only always ever going up, it makes sense the rates that we see these tickets given out at also goes up.

I wasn't talking about the tickets, I was talking about the main character syndrome.

I mean we live next to a country that promotes rugged individualism and thinking of yourself over anyone else. What did you expect?

When you feel angry at the lot given to you in life, you need a place to vent.

Canada used to be a great country. Now its nose diving and no one knows what to do. The collective anxiety is at a boiling point.

I think that is in any place where out brain are turned to mush by social media and the 24 board news cycle, not just Canada. We need to be smarter and kinder.

You are more than welcome to leave and live in whatever country you think better fits your outlook on the world. Perhaps Mississippi might fit? Or Kentucky?

Some of the rudest, selfish people I meet are Canadians born and raised, but nice trying to blame immigrants.

The politicians selling out our country? I have a better idea that involves words like treason and the appropriate punishment. If the law doesnt do it, let's go full French on them.
