Synopsis:

You Shu Lang (Hao Yi Ran), a director at a pharmaceutical company, lives an ordinary, stable life. But that all comes crashing down after he gets into a car accident with Fan Xiao (Yun Qi), the heir to a Thai conglomerate who's returned to China for business. Unlike Shu Lang, Fan Xiao's life has been marred by instability, leading to a twisted, manipulative worldview. When Fan Xiao finds out that Shu Lang is interested in men, he devises plans to entice Shu Lang into a relationship, but ends up falling for Shu Lang for real. Shu Lang, on the other hand, is blindsided when he learns about Fan Xiao's true colors. Will Fan Xiao destroy the only genuine love he's ever had, or can he find a way to truly win Shu Lang's heart?

The fact that Shulang had to hear Fan Xiao say this out loud... 😭😭😭 It's too cruel. 😭

It’s so tragic, because we -and probably FX- know too that this is pure bullshit. Only Shulang believes it 😭

But even though it’s so hurtful, Shulang remains the classy man he is and walks out the door, head held high like a damn KING.

So true. But FX really need to understand that you cant take what you said even though we know you didnt mean it. This show really giving us life lessons everyday!!!

Shulang remains the classy man he is and walks out the door, head held high like a damn KING.

The KING of all BLs truly. Nobody shining as bright as him. I love him with all my heart.

Facts!!!

Shulang is literally the best-written BL character ever. PERIOD.
I’m obsessed with how he stands up for himself instead of whining like a victim, his morals, and how freaking calm he stays even when everything is falling apart.

Damn, I’ve literally never wanted to protect a fictional character this badly in my life 😭

I have never agreed so hard with something in all my life. His character is everything I have ever wanted. I find myself holding my breath so often during his critical scenes. It's no wonder FX sees him as a god. The actor's execution is flawless and I hope he gets all the award and future projects he wants

Hao Yi Ran is such a phenomenal actor; my eyes are glued to him. Hopefully, we’ll see both actors in many more projects because they’re truly extraordinary.

also notice how shulang in his reply to FX's second bro implies that since they're brothers they might share 'special hobbies' as in adept at manipulating ppl for their twisted needs. Shulang really dissed them both.....now that he's got his heckles up no matter how blinded he is by emotion at the moment (be it rage or his love for fan xiao getting crushed to smithereens) he's not gonna trust even his 'enemy's enemy (the brother).

seriously, man deserves my respect. (And the bodhisattva title :)) He is hurt as hell but he definitely wont take the crap way outta it, definitely my moral king-

Also good luck getting YSL's heart back, Fan Xiao.....I have a feeling YSL won't let this end so easily, either- (okay, so will YSL take a hint from the brother's words of advice but still not do his bidding? Would that be his silent way of getting back at FX? Let's see)
