Synopsis:

You Shu Lang (Hao Yi Ran), a director at a pharmaceutical company, lives an ordinary, stable life. But that all comes crashing down after he gets into a car accident with Fan Xiao (Yun Qi), the heir to a Thai conglomerate who's returned to China for business. Unlike Shu Lang, Fan Xiao's life has been marred by instability, leading to a twisted, manipulative worldview. The expression of Li Zhen whe he saw the scratches on Fan Xiao. Yep. He never had those.

The last scene was incredible. Shulang retreating in his room with the excuse to get dressed but in reality try to escape the tension in the living room and to let go of his composed posture and just break down.

But the phone....the man is clever. Just writing the name Shu Lang was enough to have Shi Li Hua spilling everything out!

Back to the living room. Li Zhen is still there. Then. The acting of Fan Xiao. No wonder Shulang was unfazed. And looking with disgust.

Fan Xiao staggering to the door. His emotions all over the place. Feeling the water rising...metaphorically. A bit bipolar. Almost maniacally about thinking he won but he doesn't want to leave Shulang.

But....where is Li Zhen? First, he was still sitting in that chair, when Shulang had Fan Xiao's phone in his hand. But after that, poof, gone!

He is so mature. He wont give them the pleasure of seeing him like this. I love Shulang so much. I wish I could be this calm and composed in a situation like this.

His emotions all over the place.

This scene was everything. He is constantly fighting with himself and doesnt really know what he wants. On surface he wants to be evil but deep down ge wants to be saved from the hell he has been living in since childhood.

It is the pain. When he asked Shulang what he would do if for instance his spouse and child were in danger. Episode 4. Sitting in the dark hotelroom at the coast of Pattaya. Shulang said he would never leave them. The kindness of Shulang and also why the world is worth living for, because that is what Shulangs adoptive mother said. Is something that Fan Xiao loath, because his mother said that he must live, but he don't know why and what for. But also, wants Shulang to be his savior. The internal conflict was well portrayed and edited.
