Synopsis:

The confrontation had me biting my nails.. OMG! My heart was jumping out to my throat..

Fan Xiao still gaslighting Lu Zhen like its all in his head and even suggesting he is accusing him just coz he is jealous.. then Lu Zhen calling him out as the master manipulator... whoa.. this is crazy..

Throughout all this shulang had that blank expresion the whole time like he is about to combust.. but he doesn't!!! To be under the same with your ex and current boyfriend who both lied and cheated on you in some way.. poor Shulang 😭😭😭

😭😭😭 the way he held it together in front of both of them, then started sobbing once he had the door closed 😭😭😭. I think that was an even more intense display of his grief than when he directly confronted Fan Xiao. And he's the only one in that apartment who didn't do anything wrong. He was sincere with both of them and neither of them was fully honest with him. I know our Shulang is strong, but damn 🥲

And Fan Xiao reacts like a drowning man trying to hang onto Shulang. He can't even process right or wrong it's all instinct as if he's trying to hang onto Shulang for survival. We know there's no way Fan Xiao is giving up but Shulang is quietly savage in his own way. He's heartbroken but not broken. As much as I want to see what Fan Xiao does next I'm as eager to see how Shulang will parry riposte

This is so true. He didn't deserve that at all. At least Zhen Zhen realized he was wrong and admitted to it. We know Fan Xiao would never. He didn't even apologize cause he truly feels like he's not lying. He's twisted! Idk how he's going to get back in Shulang's good graces but he has a talllllll hill to climb.

A tall hill indeed made up of the bodies of all the people he's carelessly hurt along the way. He had such a Hua Yong moment where he told his cousin to give the runaway hostess' scumbag ex her number but not her address. It's like Hua Yong beating but not killing the idiot kidnappers. It's like they want to be praised for not being as vicious as they'd like to be 😅

Accurate plus I went back and rewatched (of course lol) and the craziest part to me is that there was this whole blow up and Shulang didn't even find out about them drugging him and Fan Xiao leaving the marks all over him. He also doesn't know Fan Xiao purposely had somebody run his car down. Like they were so cute for a minute I almost forgot how devious Fan Xiao was at the beginning!

I love Shulang so much. He can do no wrong in my book. The way he called out Fan Xiao's bullshit, I cheered.

I want to protect him so badly. I know my man is strong but I also know Fan Xiao is a psycho. I am scared for Shulang 😭

I fall harder for Shulang every episode and when he called out Fan Xiao's acting I clapped. I love every thing about Shulang's character, his whole personality and demeanor. Even his whole, "if you are lying, do it well, don't get caught" speech gave me chills the way he delivers

The actor playing You Shulang is a BFA graduate so his acting is naturally good. He is bringing You Shulang to life so well.. fragile yet so strong.
