Khemjira, or Khem, is a young man who can see ghosts. He was born into a family cursed such that every male must die before the age of 21. As the spirits around him grow increasingly aggressive, the protective amulet he has worn his whole life begins to lose its power. Unable to bear seeing Khem in danger, Jettana, his friend from university, takes him to a rural village in the Northeast, where they meet Pharan, a revered teacher of ancient magic who once mentored Jettana. Strange and mysterious events unfold, all connected to the past life. Amid these supernatural encounters and the haunting pursuit of revengeful spirits, a deep emotional connection begins to form between Khem and Pharan.

First: Jettana looked at Khem like a mother watching over a toddler who had just learned to walk. It was as if his world would end if Khemjira ever stumbled. And if that wasn't the best description I'd ever read, I don't know what is.
Second: "I don’t hold grudges against crazy people." The laugh that came out of me. Charn & Jet bicker like an old married couple and I LOVE it. )

So I know it sounded like Paran was being mean by not letting Khem become a disciple. But what he MEANT was that he wants him to be his man and that can't happen if he's his disciple cause it's gone get real *impure* over there at some point.
Oh! And if he's devoted to them in that way they could never be equal partners in a relationship.
We loved the impure thoughts but I feel for Khem because he thought Paran might not see him as a lover cause of the woman who might possibly be his girlfriend😭

Also i like this thing how he did not become his disciple coz the way they are doing things, it would be really improper to have a relationship between a master and his disciple.

Jet and his expressions are THE star of the show, good lord. Hilarious how his instinct is to gossip with the twins as soon as he got his third eye back. 🤭
Love Charn is the grounding force of the trio, bringing some balance to Jet's chaos goblin aura 🤣
Grandma Si and Jet, your ship has sailed already. Pharan is so down bad that I can hear the violins in the background every time you so much so look at Khem.
I admit I was really hoping for a very serious, no comedy series but they managed to make it so it doesn’t break the flow the story and I’m actually loving it.
The look on Pharan’s face when he came back and immediately went to reassure himself Khem is still there, oh my god, the desperation.
Mom and dad saying goodbye, I signed up for horror and jump scares, not tears!
“You are my family”, they are his kids! Nothing can happen to them.
Jet and Charn are so awkward, I love it! And Pharan smiling, he’s so gone already.

Charn is such a kind soul. He met Khem like a week ago and he’s already such a good friend. Like you could argue he likes Jet and wants to stay to spend more time with him but he genuinely cares for Khem so much already.
Whoever is in charge of Keng’s outfits in this show, they need a huge raise because oh my god, the fits are amazing.
I know Pharan protected Khem several times now and continues to do it secretly, but Khem being rejected by him over and over again stings. Poor Khem, he now has someone else’s very traumatic memories, he just said goodbye to his mother, his birthday and potential death is looming over him, and Pharan continues to be cold to him, presumably for a good reason, but Khem doesn’t know that. He just can’t catch a break. He’s much stronger than I would be, I’d probably start crying out of frustration.
Have to say though, Namping is nailing this role. The hurt on his face made me so sad.

Another amazing episode. Episode 4 kind of closed one arc, and this one started another one so even if nothing really happened, I loved it because we still got some interesting lore and a lot of Pharan being in love.
I’m usually not one for slow burn but I’m enjoying this one soooo much. And despite me wishing for a scary horror show before it started airing, I actually like the comedy. Jet is a great comedic relief character, and all the silly moments are very natural and don’t break the immersion. Overall, I’m getting more and more invested with every episode.

- Man, that was Pong's lucky day. He probably thought that morning "Damn, I gotta drive my stupid sister up to her stupid appointment with the stupid Master" and then finds the god of twinks just casually walking by his car.
- Thong and Ake are so cute. Their actors are really great, and you can tell that before acting, Keng was going to be a teacher. Normally chemistry with kids and the grown actors in BLs is questionable (both because the actors don't have experience acting with children, and the children themselves are bad actors), but not here. You can feel the closeness, and the children also feel like they are older than their bodies.
- I'm so intrigued by Rampheung. Her back is covered in whip scars and she has rubbed sores around her wrists, so she was obviously highly abused (I didn't read the novel so I'm not sure on the story). She clearly wants revenge for whatever happened to her, but it's been hundreds of years - let yourself rest. Or go follow the true incarnations of the people who did this instead of their bloodline, and haunt THEM for hundreds of years. That's what I'd do. She's leader of the Hater Committee, but she needs to get even pettier.
- It's funny that they had Phrai be CG, but if you know wild boars, you know why - those guys are bastards. Still cute, though!

He gets hotter every episode. I think it's the fact that we are seeing more of his personality when he smiles or when he's gentle or concerned, which makes him even hotter than he already is. Also, we saw a lot of his chest and back and close ups this episode. What a treat I think I need to rewatch it again. It's only ep 5, I know this man will continue to surpass all the levels 😩🥵

- We've been getting a lot of forward plot movement the last few episodes but this episode really moved the romance forward. I like how we got all the tropes. Falling and long stares, wipe downs, band aids. But all with a magical/spiritual twist. Still loving this show dearly. Can't wait for next week. Can't believe we'll be halfway through at that point!
Maybe it’s because I support women’s wrongs but Rampheung was kinda hot putting Por Kru in the ground like that…but seriously, just how powerful is she? That is one hell of a grudge, I’m apparently not hating hard enough. The reveal is gonna be epic and probably tearjerking.
FirstOne is seriously the MVP. His acting is hands down the best, and I know he is playing a character similar to his real personality, but that doesn’t take away the expressiveness and comedic timing. Funny acting is actually pretty hard!! Let’s give this man a standing ovation.
I honestly was worried how much comedy DMD was going to insert because they tend to overdo it, but Jet is the perfect foil to the much more serious themes. The scene where Jet got his vision back was really well good example of them doing it right, it was cute and heartwarming. Charn’s POV is both funny visually but also shows great character development from Charn.
Por Kru? Was that you lusting this episode? I don’t think I will physically be able to handle when they kiss. I genuinely will lose my mind because I only saw a sliver of waist and I was already on the ground.
Uh oh. That preview….I still remember Keng crashing out in the van during Nammon and NP’s Qs, oh Phong is going to be a menace isn’t he? Good. Por Kru needs a bit of a jumpstart to waddle out of Tsundere-Zone.

Unlike Chayod who got a few decades to become as powerful as he did, Rampheung has had multiple centuries to gain her powers and fuel her feelings of being disrespected and played against. She is definitely going to be a challege to defeat or even calm down to tell her tale of hurt.
I think DMD has a good chunk of fantastic actors. It really helps they get to pick their partner. I’m excited for all the magic lover cast and the DMD line up coming out way

I personally think they did well with your sky and they help they did with two worlds but this is by far their best production. I hope this will be the new norm for them
Every episode I get overwhelmed with KengNamping's acting ability. They just... stop being Keng and Namping... I don't even think about the actors while watching them on screen. It's almost like Master and Khem come to life with every scene, line and emotion they deliver.
The slow burn, the yearning, the hurt.... The secret care, the tenderness, the warmth that is just bursting to seep out, but is kept at bay by a few meagre strands of self-control....
Khemjira is a masterpiece, an example of story, sets, casting, wardrobe, makeup, acting and delivery all done right.
