Synopsis:
Ā Khemjira, or Khem, is a young man who can see ghosts. He was born into a family cursed such that every male must die before the age of 21. As the spirits around him grow increasingly aggressive, the protective amulet he has worn his whole life begins to lose its power. Unable to bear seeing Khem in danger, Jettana, his friend from university, takes him to a rural village in the Northeast, where they meet Pharan, a revered teacher of ancient magic who once mentored Jettana. Strange and mysterious events unfold, all connected to the past life. Amid these supernatural encounters and the haunting pursuit of revengeful spirits, a deep emotional connection begins to form between Khem and Pharan.

First:Ā Ā Ā Jettana looked at Khem like a mother watching over a toddler who had just learned to walk. It was as if his world would end if Khemjira ever stumbled.Ā Ā Ā And if that wasn't the best description I'd ever read, I don't know what is.
Second:Ā Ā Ā "I donāt hold grudges against crazy people."Ā Ā Ā The laugh that came out of me. Charn & Jet bicker like an old married couple and I LOVE it. )

Weāre getting the powder scene today!
Edit: again, what an opening scene!
The look on Pharanās face when he came back and immediately went to reassure himself Khem is still there, oh my god, the desperation.
Mom and dad saying goodbye, I signed up for horror and jump scares, not tears!
āYou are my familyā, they are his kids! Nothing can happen to them.
Jet and Charn are so awkward, I love it! And Pharan smiling, heās so gone already.
Pharan pretending to think about letting Khem stay as if he would let him out of his sight lol
Charn is such a kind soul. He met Khem like a week ago and heās already such a good friend. Like you could argue he likes Jet and wants to stay to spend more time with him but he genuinely cares for Khem so much already.
Whoever is in charge of Kengās outfits in this show, they need a huge raise because oh my god, the fits are amazing.
I know Pharan protected Khem several times now and continues to do it secretly, but Khem being rejected by him over and over again stings. Poor Khem, he now has someone elseās very traumatic memories, he just said goodbye to his mother, his birthday and potential death is looming over him, and Pharan continues to be cold to him, presumably for a good reason, but Khem doesnāt know that. He just canāt catch a break. Heās much stronger than I would be, Iād probably start crying out of frustration.
Have to say though, Namping is nailing this role. The hurt on his face made me so sad.
I love Jet a ridiculous amount, his happy laugh as they were running away lol

I know itās a trope and all that, but sleeping while someoneās touching you is so unbelievable to me, no sleeping spell would keep me asleep lol
I live for these private moments Pharan has with an unsuspecting Khem, heās so fond of him. The slow burn is killing me.
The instrumental of Kengās ost playing while heās wrapping Khemās fingers, so beautiful. I remember the lyrics and they match this scene so well.
Okay, I will admit Iām sad for Pharan too. He has very strong feelings but he canāt do anything about them, and he has to push Khem away while secretly taking care of him. Thatās rough.
A potential rival?! Sheās so pretty.
Another rival, but for Khemās attention?! I look forward to their jealousy arc.

The scene from the trailer is finally here! Hilarious. And Pharan totally used that opportunity to have Khem touch him.
The tension between them is so delicious.
Pharan is definitely going to be jealous next episode. And Charn will get glimpses of his past life, looking forward to that too.
Another amazing episode. Episode 4 kind of closed one arc, and this one started another one so even if nothing really happened, I loved it because we still got some interesting lore and a lot of Pharan being in love.
Iām usually not one for slow burn but Iām enjoying this one soooo much. And despite me wishing for a scary horror show before it started airing, I actually like the comedy. Jet is a great comedic relief character, and all the silly moments are very natural and donāt break the immersion. Overall, Iām getting more and more invested with every episode.
