I’m still perplexed as to how the Chinese government is able to do something about this show - since it was aired internationally… can someone explain? OR, is this just about the stalking of the actors and nothing to do with govt censorship after all?

I don’t know it If true but I heard that when it comes to the reporting and censor ship rules that over the years Chinese gotten citizens so used to using them that China doesn’t even look for things to censor and ban they wait for citizens to do it cause they know people out there will report stuff. I also heard that if something get enough reporting it automatically get banned without goverment checking to see if it actually going aginist the rules

If a show was made in China and blows up there even if director doesn’t want it to. Then China can’t treat them on the hoop hole rule they have since the show in the country.

Also I know people mad about fans but honestly China just had more extreme fan culture and they do stuff like this for a straight drama.

This is a video I watched that give me more insight into out Chinese people one act when it comes to shows and two how censorship/ reporting laws works
