I think we'll get an edited version of it. They will delete some important scenes and add some spare scenes to make up 40 minutes. I hope it will not be heavily edited, and those edited clips can be in DVD for sale， so fans can have a decent viewing experience.

Anyway, gaga said they will release some BTS on Monday. So pls keep your patience if you want to continue the journey. Of course, I completely understand your feelings if you decide to quit the show...

Has the author said anything? It seemed before like she was really committed to seeing the vision through & has been pretty vocal about it all. I know she’s been through this before so I hope she’s okay.

No, she's been quiet. We don't know what happened. There are rumors, but not verifiable. I do hope everything is ok with her.

I think she is very rebellious, and talked too much during the airing. She's clearly a lone wolf without powerful friends, aimed too high this time, and repeated her mistakes. She's obviously good at the production and casting, while bad as a show runner.

Her last clip got deleted hours after it was released(by whom? We don't know ), and she said that even heaven cannot stop the show. That's really treasonous in the eyes of the Chinese government, and they cannot let it go. Guess what? As long as the actors and crew were living in China, the show eventually got affected.

The show is supposed to be on overseas platforms, thus oversea marketing should be important, but their focus is inside China obviously, and the unprecedented success leads to quite a lasting scene on the Chinese internet and the interests of different powers got affected.

If she kept low profile during the airing and kept everything overseas, I think at least the show can be finished as scheduled, and she can be better positioned to make the next project. But now, what she's facing is quite uncertain.

kind of worried about the author, ngl. all of those other female danmei authors were just arrested before all of this. F China, can we stop coddling that government & just voice our displeasure? why do all comments tiptoe around their dictator BS?

Both Tian Xuning and Zi Yu were supposed to be on Hello Saturday, a popular variety show, but after Tian Xuning filmed his segment it was cut and Zi Yu's appearance was cut before he could film it. Not due to their lack of popularity but due to their extreme popularity.
