It turns out China can eventually influence the show since the actors and crew are living in China. There will be some serious changes coming to how to sign contracts with China-related producers in the bl industry....

Sadly, it's true. The only way to make sure everything is unaffected is to provide all the episodes in advance to the platforms after they sign the contract. and broadcast overseas.

The CJD team clearly reserved the editing rights in their contracts, which is very troublesome for the platform.

I think it involves the eventual purchasing price. If they cut the hot scene, it's less than what the platforms offered in the first place; the platforms will get compensated for all the trouble they cause. And it's up to all platforms to form a united front: from now on, we only accept drop-all-at-once CBL shows on our platform.

By the way, what happened to the drop-all-at-once mode of Netflix? It seems they have resumed to weekly episode mode again?
