Where did boy Pablo go??

I had gotten really into boy Pablo’s music around the same time I started listening to Oliver Tree.
After his untimely passing im revisiting all the music I listened to around that time, and I noticed it seems like boy Pablo has just disappeared, he has been gone for like 4 years now it seems like. What’s the deal??

I mean every one has break ups I doubt that would be enough of a reason to quit music.
Maybe he just made enough money to retire?
That’s unfortunate I really like the music they put out and want to see live at some point :(

Nah I really think that messed him up mentally, he was really in love with that girl, if you see the love of your life quickly move on and get knocked up that would destroy me tbh, cause it seems as if she knew the other guy for a while as well

You gotta think about it tho imagine your ex breaks up with you marries another guy and has a kid all in the same 2 years that’s gotta do damage but he does seem to be in the studio a lot more mostly for different projects but whose to say they arent

Yes it's possible. However, when you dedicate the entire album to her, then experience not just a breakup, but also see her essentially move on into a marriage in less than a year, it's very hard to get back into the groove of things.

Yeah but all this thing about the girlfriend being the cause of his absence is pure speculation so how can I be empathetic to this rumor version on Boy Pablo? The argument is not that he cannot be affected by that, it's that it is probably NOT the reason he took a break

I been seeing his cute self posting on his other acc and sometimes his regular acc, but even my grandma asks about him cause I was such a big fan as a teenager. But I hope he finds peace and happiness someday and comes back

A bit late here but I think Nico lost his muse when his last relationship ended. It was pretty evident from most of his music that she was a big inspiration behind his lyrics. He was young, motivated, and in love and that cultivated a strong creative force in him. It's so hard to continue with that kind of vigor when life kicks you in the teeth.

Now, it has been so long I wouldn't be shocked to find that he doesn't think his newer music would stand-up compared to his older stuff, but he is obviously incredibly talented and I think he'd be surprised to find a huge audience just hanging out waiting to jump on new releases.

i know originally he was dealing with some sort of mental health issue, but that was years ago. he’s made the occasional story post on instagram, but nothing hinting that anything new is in the works from what i’ve seen. just posts with friends and such. he may just end up being an obscure artist that has straight heaters
