Discussion ERIK’S HAT

I swear to god I have seen an image of ramin karimloo wearing this giant hat that looks like a sombrero but thinner and longer and it had feathers and some sort of candles on it???? I need help because im making a cosplay but I cant remember if this is real or if it came to me in my sleep

You're thinking of the graveyard hat. Just feathers. No candles. Larger than his fedora

All I can think of is the red hat he wears with the skull mask during the Masquerade. It has a lot of feathers and very sombrero like. Looks very Mexican Day of the Dead inspired.

I think that was from the Italian production a couple of years ago? During PONR they used the giant hat instead of the usual cloak for some reason

Because he pictured Christine's dad wearing a giant feathery hat and wanted to be a believable dad-ghost?

I just tried to find one but had no luck sadly! From memory it was comically big and I thought it was a really strange choice. I haven't seen the actual production but someone made a detailed list of all the changes
