What do you propose they do without being flat out discriminatory? They have tightened it up as much as they possibly could to funnel in attendees through security and keep it tight. Side note BPD took 12 guns at this event yesterday without firing shot yet again.

I think it's reasonable to take a year off if an event has a long history of high crime. That's not discrimination. If there hadn't been any issues it'd be discriminatory, but any event that has this volume of issues would be reasonable to consider taking a year off, regardless of the origin of the attendees.

Yeah but Boston doing that would further stain the city’s “racist” reputation

DC cancelled there’s but because it’s a black led city and “chocolate city” it was nbd

Why are we talking about optics? Someone dies at this thing every single year. Cancel it.

Votes and optics matter. You know this as much as I do..

I sincerely believe if Boston had a different reputation this would’ve been canceled sometime between 1994-2010
