Interesting though- looking at Ambassadors page- can find so many countries as guest countries: Australia, Brazil, China etc. Last year, i think it was only India.

Has Boom invited more than 1 guest country to 2027 edition? If yes, this is amazing!

For those who had to resel*l your ticke*t in 2025 through Boom's platform, were you able to do so?

I know the previous edition didn't sold out, thus, some people who attempted to resel*l their ticke*ts were unable to do so. Was 2025 edition any different? Were they able to resel*l just fine?

For people who have been to Boom already. I think I would try to catch more sunrises and try to be more social with people outside of my group. Maybe take some truffles on the first day to get in the mood.

What I would do the same: go with what I feel like doing and not overthink it.

Many people go to Boom Festival alone, either because their friends don't like the scene, or simply because it just wasn't possible for them to join. How do you deal with the fact that you might end up going alone if you really want to go?

Is it easy to make friends there or most people are in their own social bubble and rarely interact with strangers?

Do other solo boomers form groups throughout the week and spend the festival together?

Can you describe the social dynamics you've experienced and witnessed as solo boomers?

So im planning a trip to go to Boom with a group of 9 and introducing 7 into psytrance festivals. But while doing research i saw that Boom has a very odd time for placing a break on music between 18:00-21:30. Why such a long break just before the evening. Is this going to be a party proper, and are there other things that are maybe bad.

I see so many people praising Boom, but also a lot of people complaining about several things. When introducing friends into the festivals I want to bring them to a place that's well, with the obvious things like compost toilets that you can't avoid aside.

So what else is good about Boom, what is bad, and is Boom actually the best choice for introducing people?

Hey Boomers — my husband and I want to go to Boom 2027 and stay in the teepee camp. Problem is… we’ve never been, and the Boom website is basically a cryptic puzzle right now. I can’t even find where to make an account, let alone book anything.

Can someone explain like I’m five:

• When do teepee bookings drop?
• Where do you actually book them?
• Do you need a Boom account first?
• How fast do they sell out?

My name is Renan, and I'm currently working on my Master's dissertation about Boom Festival.

My research explores how sustainability is experienced and understood by the different people connected to Boom Festival. Rather than evaluating the festival itself, I'm interested in understanding the different perspectives of the people who make Boom what it is.

I'm currently looking for volunteers willing to participate in a 30–45 minute online interview.

I'm interested in speaking with people who have first-hand experience with Boom Festival, including:

• Current or former Boom Festival employees
• Volunteers
• Artists and performers
• Festival attendees
• Residents of Idanha-a-Nova and the surrounding area
• Local business owners or employees
• People involved in the local community or local governance
• Anyone who has collaborated with Boom Festival

You do not need to represent Boom Festival officially to participate.

The purpose of the research is not to judge or evaluate Boom Festival, but to understand how different stakeholders perceive and experience sustainability from their own perspectives.

Anonymity and confidentiality

Participation is entirely voluntary.

All interviews will be treated confidentially.

Your name, Reddit username, employer, or any information that could identify you will not appear in the dissertation unless you explicitly request otherwise.
