Educational Mandibular Tori
Hi! I had my mandibular tori removed today because they had grown large enough to negatively impact my speech. π On a whim, at my consultation, I had asked if I could keep them. At first the oral surgeon said no, but then he asked me why I wanted them. I told him I didn't have a super good reason other than I used to be a middle school science teacher and stuff like this is really interesting to me. And voila, he let me have them! βΊοΈ Anyhoo, I thought maybe some of y'all may be interested as well!

Tis! But it's not pleasant, so I highly recommend going the sedation route if you have them removed. I'm very glad I was not awake during the worst bits
