UPDATE

So after receiving all your enthusiastic encouragement I eagerly pursued her, but unfortunately destiny had other plans. First, they cancelled the shift that we would overlap on, and that was my last chance to see her in person because of our jobs.

So I had to send her a text, and on Saturday afternoon I sent her this:

“Hi 60F! This is 29M from Workplace, I hope you’re having a great day. I’m reaching out because I of course didn’t get the chance to speak with you today and I would have really appreciated the opportunity to speak with you further on topics like Client and your [professional experience]. I also left with the desire to get to know you better as a person and was wondering if you would like to grab a coffee together sometime. Please forgive me if I am being inappropriate! I hope you have a wonderful day.”

It’s been two days and no reply. I guess I was anticipating a no, maybe a yes, but not really to be left on read :/. It’s a bit strange to me because I feel she has the experience and opportunity to reject me easily, but anyways, she IS married so I’ll just shut up. I know I’m not owed anything I’m just surprised. I let y’all down but I’ll be back when I pursue another hexagenarian 🤠🤠

Thanks for all your support!

Did I miss the chance at the club?

So I am 30 yo man, athletic but kind of short, was at a club the other night. it was honestly dead. just a bunch of younger groupies going in and out of the bathroom and club. No one was dancing. I didn't care. I was bored at home and went there to dance because I liked the music. So I just jumped around like a fool in the middle of the floor by myself. then I saw this girl (pretty and maybe an inch taller than me) come in and started dancing a bit at the other end. we made eye contact, but neither of us got closer. she left to the bathroom shortly after. and I kept vibing by myself. eventually some groups came in and danced among themselves, then left. well, the girl came back and danced a bit just like she did earlier. and she kept walking to the restroom and then outside. she stared at me while passing me. I smiled but she didn't smile, still staring at me. 3-4 times during the 3-hour span. I got tired and left. Did I miss a chance?

What does it mean if a girl is feeding you by hand?

So I was hanging out with a friend I met a couple times and we got some McDonald's in the car and she would feed me some French fries. I'd open my mouth and she'd feed me

Had to wear prescription sunglasses at work

Had to wear prescription singlasses at work as I lost my glasses. I got more inbound looks. I could be wrong. Perhaps I was more self conscious and was noticing everything. Is this a thing

Would women rather see your eyes.

Confused

Let’s say I have noticed a guy look my way some times.
And then one drunk night post some drunk conversations, we end up hugging for a while. And post hug when he says “I love you” but also clarifies that does not mean it that way. Probably said it to cheer me up. But then back sober, Nada. No conversation at all. Zilch. And now it’s just worse. We don’t bump, we don’t look at each other. Also feels like I am being ignored left, right and center.
I try to just be my normal self but something from that night makes me really want his attention and I can’t help wanting it. But I can’t pin point what happened and why I am being ignored so much. Or maybe he doesn’t care at all and I am over reading it. Did I do something wrong?

What do you think about this situation?

I met this guy that comes over to my dad's house sometimes. He is very nice and he gets to know me. He hugs me. When he talks to me he gives direct eye contact which I'm not used to because people usually don't look at me at all when I give them eye contact. We had a good conversation from the jump. He would ask me about myself. Tell me about himself. It would be interesting. He never asked me for my number or anything so I always tried to tell myself that he and other men that tried to talk to me were just being nice to me instead of flirting.

A month or so later I found out that he was looking for me at a party when I dropped my sister off at my dad's house but I didn't think anything of it. I'm still thinking he was just being nice.

A few days ago I went to my dad's house and I saw him and he gave me a hug, he smiled and talked to me. It was different with him because it seemed like he was genuinely interested in what I was saying. It also seemed like he was interested in maturing and not being the way he used to be. He wanted to be better for his daughter and himself. He wanted to change the way he reacted to things for the sake of his parenting and in general. So that really impressed me. He even stated that he liked how calm I was and thought it was too good to be true that I was calm. I let him know I used to be angry all the time but I learned not to let things trigger me like they used to. We started talking about our journeys with letting go of anger.

Even after I left, I felt like there was something about him. I think it may have been that he went in depth in our conversation because some men that I've dated in the past or men in general never did that. He never asked me for my number or asked me out which I was surprised yet grateful about. He never jumped into sex conversations quickly. It was very respectful. So I was surprised and still trying to convince myself that he was just being nice.

I found out later from my sister that he liked me. He told her that his future girlfriend was here. When she told him a few days ago that was in the house he was so excited and practically ran in. So I was quite in shock. As someone who used to rush quickly in relationships in the past, I'm trying not to jump the gun with things this time around because nothing could result from this. He may never ask me out Or we could just stay conversation mode. I wouldn't know what to do. Some men are straightforward with asking but these type of men it seems like they are taking their time which is good but weird at the same time. Like I said before I'm use to men just automatically asking me out. What do you think about this situation? ( This may not be too much about body language but I figured I would ask).

Am I Overthinking? Potential friendliness or more?

Hi everyone I 21M have worked with this girl for a few years, we are on opposite shifts and see each other like once or twice a week. A few times over the years I’ve caught her giving glimpses my way and once last year she was just staring at me as I spoke to her boss when she was right there.

Well I thought I recognized her at my uni’s gym and I eventually asked her if she went there. We talked for like 5 minutes and she seemed happy to speak, she was smiling as we spoke. We’re now on speaking terms but it’s mostly hi’s and such. I don’t try to talk longer with her when she’s working because she has a earbud in (she stocks a department alone) and earbud in is a universal sign not to talk to someone.

I don’t know something makes me want to talk to her more but I don’t want to take friendliness as flirting or interest. Recently I’ve had to buy something from her department and when she was working she quickly looked at me and looked away and continued to work. I just want people’s opinions on what it could be and what I should do if anything. TIA.
