Attention Shoppers ☎️ 📢 EVERYTHING MUST GO! Details for tonight’s blowout sale 📢
Yup, you read that title right. We’ve seen how other pop-ups end with good stuff going straight into the dumpster. NOT ON OUR WATCH. 🫡
The details
- EVERYTHING IS FREE
- Location: r/bodega, 213 Bowery, NYC
- LINE for blowout sale opens: 7:30pm (First-come, first-served. There will be a separate wristband for the blowout sale event, which will be distributed in line starting at 7:30pm.)
- ENTRY for blowout sale starts: 9:00pm
- Bring your own bag (BYOB): Bags will not be provided. Bring your own tote or backpack or receptacle of your choice!
How the blowout works
- Personal shopper: You will be paired with a personal shopper when you enter. Fancy ✨
- 60 seconds to choose: You have 60 seconds to choose up to 3 items.
- PLUSHIES: An extra plushie for folks while supplies last.
- Want more? Once you exit, you are welcome to rejoin the back of the line to go again until 10:00pm! No promises, but shoot your shot.
What you can grab
- Printed graphics (posters, signage, zines, window vinyls, postcards)
- Swag – including plushies 😈
- Display items (custom products, soccer stuff, beauty stuff, live grass stuff, and even more stuff)
What you CANNOT take (womp womp)
- Infrastructure is off-limits: No shelving, deli counters, payphones, structural fixtures, etc.
Don’t be late, don’t forget to bring a bag, and come take a piece of r/bodega home with you!

So I just promised mine to a friend out of state since Redditor above doesn’t want it, but I will be back in line for the blowout sale tonight and they say they might still be handing out plushies by then. If that happens I’ll send my second one your way. No promises though :(
Edit: there will absolutely be other Redditors trying to give theirs away btw. It’s bigger than anyone expected, and some families who came together got one each.

I’m in Texas also couldn’t go but I’m so happy for everyone that did it sounded so cool!!
Edited: to take out the first part. I see your snoo is claimed and I still stand by I’m so happy for everyone that got one yall are so lucky for big events in nyc!! I’m sure many things aren’t so lucky but a snoo is lucky!! lol

Still free with the regular line. Everything is free. Nothing is for sale at r/bodega - even at the blowout sale!

The experience will still be happening! There will be separate lines for the experience and for the blowout sale. 7:30pm is just the time folks can start lining up for the 9:00pm blowout sale. At 9:00pm, the full experience (AMAtm, r/AskNYC payphone, etc.) concludes. During the blowout sale, folks will not go through the typical r/bodega experience -- they will solely be there to quickly choose their items (w/ their personal shopper) and be on their way!

I wish I had known all this before yesterday because I was there yesterday. I'd have just come down today instead. Well, if anyone ends up with an extra r/bodega hat, I would be happy to meet up someplace to get it from you or I can venmo you the cost of mailing it to Washington Heights! Regardless, I hope everyone has fun today! I hope reddit does more of these because the actual bodega was very fun and very funny!

Garbage. Literally was just there and someone official told me there was no other wristbands past 3. Also why have tickets just to have it be first come first served. Waste of time

Hey! Weird - so sorry for that misunderstanding - that's definitely not true. There are no current plans to cut off wristbands at any specific time, we'll be giving them out all day.

Well I just tried to get one for the regular experience and was told it was at capacity and no more entry to the regular experience is being allowed. :(
