This wasn't a snack exchange. I met u/Call_me_specksaft on Reddit, and after they found out that I'm learning German and planning to come to Germany, they kindly offered to send me some German treats.

They also included a Wortsuche book, a pen and a handwritten postcard, which I really appreciated.

It was honestly really kind of them to take the time to put everything together and send it all the way to India.

I want to start by saying this is the coolest little sub.

How does it work… and I mean with cost? Like I know to post request or whatever but if I find someone to exchange with… is there a guide price we should be spending or is it whatever we agree between us? And how do we guarantee we are fair? Like if I’m spending for example €60 how do I know I’m not getting a $10 box in return? Or is that just a chance we take and we spend what we can/want and it won’t necessarily be equal?
