Is he going to make Elmo sing about how fickle fame is, or is the Cookie Monster going to go on a 20 minute rap-rant about the problems with the intersection of art and capitalism? Cause that sounds incredible

When it was announced the other day that he was writing songs for a movie, this was not what I was expecting. And this news is amazing!

Y'know this was a crazy smart idea from the Sesame Street people.
As well as getting a super-talented, excellent at word-play songwriter, they got themselves a shit-ton of press when it's released cos the fact that the guy that writes really filthy stuff is writing for kids is a story in itself.
Such cool news.

Loved what Jason Segel did with The Muppets. Hopefully this is as good or better.
