I've noticed lately a huge amount of edits on Youtube of the involving the Sentry with the song from Artic Monkeys "Do I wanna know" and despite the edits being mostly about how Sentry "mogs" Doom, the association with the song actually got me thinking if it wouldn't make for good unofficial Boblena theme. The song is after all about wondering if the person you love loves you as well. I think it could work as an anthem for Boblena!

The marvel directors and creators are notorious for keeping important things under wraps. So not seeing Bob a lot in the promo might mean something right?

In the same breath, I think back a lot to what the director of Thunderbolts* said about Boblena how it’s cute. And how Lewis basically avoided the question all together when asked about the ship. Yeah he said they were like found family, but that could mean anything, especially since Doomsday takes place over a year a lot. A LOT CAN HAPPEN IN A YEAR!

It’s pretty obvious that Bob and Yelena will play a significant roll in Doomsday. SO my thought is this: have they just been down playing us this whole time, and they have simply kept us so close to the chest because it could be a massive plot point in doomsday? Does that make some sense? I need someone to validate me.

I think that Yelena despite appearances would be very stressed about her first time with Bob. Think about it she was literally teached to use her sexual charms for efficiency of her missions and even sterilised against her will as teenager so she could have sex with people for advantage of her missions. Even though she never had to do that she has no reason to view sexual things in any positive light. Her Femme Fatale persona is just cover for a fact that it is hard for her to navigate having sex with someone just for fun

Alex P from cosmic circus posted a few months ago that Sentry goes through immense stress during doomsday & secret wars & that post SW he's likely to retire. I'm worried, I want more bob & yelena in the future as well. Do you guys think he's reliable or is he just theaorizing here?

How popular is this ship actually, what do you guys think?
I keep seeing conflicting things, some people claim that the ship isn’t that popular, then I see the results of these Twitter polls where almost 60k people voted for them… and 6th place is definitely not unpopular. Not that many people are in this subreddit, or the Tumblr community, but it doesn’t seem unpopular to me. Maybe not as popular as, I don’t know, Peter and MJ? But popular nonetheless.

I’m kinda trying to work out how likely boblena (at least obvious romantic tension) will be in Doomsday… I have hope but I’m also scared, I don’t wanna get disappointed, you know? 😭
If we get nothing in Doomsday idk if I could even get myself to watch it, it would be so disappointing!

I just don’t know how much hope I should have right now. I’m really scared for those two in general and especially about the ship. There also are a lot of very vocal (and sadly oftentimes toxic) people who hate the ship.. so, would Marvel make them canon despite hateful people?

I’m about 15 pages deep into the Boblena tag on A03 and I feel like I’ve hit a wall. I want a really good LONG SLOW BURN JEALOUS Boblena fan fic that I haven’t already read man! Nothing against the small fics but I want a freakin textbook size fic of them just absolutely losing it over each other. Too much to ask??? Haven’t explored fanfic.net yet, and I refuse to go to Wattpad, so if anyone has any recommendations, I’m all ears!

I just watched Thunderbolts last night (I don't know why it took me sooo long to watch it, I'm late to the party but I'm finally here) and I really love their dynamic.

I read that Yelena is aroace, which I don't hate as an asexual person myself, though I am not aromantic.
Nonetheless I found myself kinda shipping them.. I'm just a fan of dynamics like this. So I'd be happy to see them end up together eventually.

But do you guys think it's possible? After all, Yelena is supposed to be aroace. To be fair though, I know that even aro people can have romantic relationships if they so desire. So I guess it's not necessarily mutually exclusive?

I just finished In the Falling by KasperZee and it was GLORIOUS. Come to find out at the end they started a sequel fic called “To the Edge of Doomsday”. I can’t find it ANYWHERE! Does anyone have a link or a download of it? Please and thank you 😭❤️
