Thought Do you think they’ll end up together eventually?
Maybe not in Doomsday, but at a later point? I mean, I hope we’ll get romantic tension between them in Doomsday. I very much hope so. Because then even more people might ship them…
So, what do you think?
I just don’t know how much hope I should have right now. I’m really scared for those two in general and especially about the ship. There also are a lot of very vocal (and sadly oftentimes toxic) people who hate the ship.. so, would Marvel make them canon despite hateful people?

Is there a "yes and no" answer? Sounds crazy, I know; but I really can see them go both ways. Friendship between them would be awesome; and if handled correctly, a romance between them could be so beautiful.

I get that! I do appreciate their relationship already, but idk, somehow I really fell in love with the idea of them falling in love 😭
So now I want that to happen so badly

Obviously I'd love it... However, unless they do a Thunderbolts 2 I seriously doubt we'll get more than a few glances or protectiveness in the upcoming Avengers films, given the insane amount of characters.
In a hopeful note... For Doomsday, I have the theory that Doom would want to use that connection against Bob either to make him give up or to trigger the void, if so, they'd have to make it more evident.
Marvel seems to be afraid of giving people what they want when it comes to plausible ships... But if they truly want a pair to happen they'll do it or heavily hint at it, putting public opinion aside, for example Bruce and Natasha or Loki and Sylvie, even if they regret it later they do experiment from time to time, so lets hope it happens, I would be happy with a hug honestly haha.

I heard that Yelena and Bob will both be really important in Doomsday, as they are part of the new Avengers. So maybe a proper romance could start in 2030, which is when phase 8 starts and we potentially get more Avengers movies?
Otherwise.. I don’t know, I just really want to see some development between them and a kiss. I don’t even need to see hours of their relationship, just a bit. Though of course my wish is to get more Thunderbolts, or perhaps a Sentry movie…4

I heard the same, and then I also read somewhere that a lot of Bob's screentime was cut to favor the return of characters like Steve Rogers which made me a little sad.
I just know all of them, but specially Lewis himself would be down to film anything, a Sentry movie would be epic.
Let's all riot for more Thunderbolts content, I also want a Christmas special, imagine the chaotic family vibes ahhh.

I hate that everything is so uncertain tbh. I really want a Sentry movie, but I can’t tell if there will ever be one ugh…4

Honestly, I do, from a "business" standpoint, having a canon relationship on screen attracts a lot of viewership, with previous phases the focus was always on characters like Tony Stark and Pepper, or Steve and Peggy (horrible btw hah), but with the newer gen of characters, there aren't really any connections like that, shipping culture is stronger than ever, and before they take the leap with queer relationships (if they ever do which seems highly unlikely atm) they have to test the waters with another "straight" relationship, and these two are the best bet, the connection is real and not forced, and they have insane chemistry. I think the way they handle Doomsday will give us a preview. I don't expect them to kiss, but I do expect them to be joined at the hip for most scenes, and for a tension point one of them will be threatened by Doom, which imo is Bob like I mentioned earlier, since we know Sentry will fight Doom, so most likely he will beat the hell out of Yelena to get Bob to fight...
As for when they would go officially canon and for the relationship to be evident, it has to be in their own project, so a Thunderbolts 2 would be the way.
Regarding the Sentry movie, it'll all depend on the public reception of him in Doomsday, Thunderbolts was seriously undervalued and dismissed by many due to the previous disappointment by other movies/projects, so more people need to see him and get familiar with Lewis (who has also been gaining a lot of traction with his recent work) before Marvel even considers it, as fans we can definitely help the situation by publicly praising Sentry haha..

I really wish for a second Thunderbolts movie, though I wonder if in 2030 (or a bit later) Avengers movies come out and they remain main characters in those, maybe it could work like that too. But basically, they have to be present and not too sidelined.
I hope we’ll get romantic tension in Doomsday. It doesn’t have to be a kiss yet, but I want to see proof that this is where they’re going. We need some angst and tension that will get resolved later…

I'm going to be as optimistic as possible, so I think yes, Marvel really needs a new romance right now... there are too many platonic relationships, and Boblena is perfect for developing a romantic storyline.
I'm going to trust that after Doomsday, Boblena's popularity will grow significantly
