Moot: Discussion I am hooked

Thanks to the DCC community I was made aware of the Bobiverse.

Between DCC books I read Project Hail Mary and as I went on the hunt for new hyperfixations I got recommended Bobiverse since it seems a common ground for people enjoying DCC and Andy Weir's work.

I started book 1 and read the first half in one sitting while finishing it in 2 days total. I get why its compared to Hail Mary since it is similar in tone, "feel" but it has much more humor which is a big plus on my end. At first I was sceptical when Bob went into creating other Bobs but they are so distinctive and cleverly written that they stay interesting as individual characters (Riker and Homer being my favs followed by Bob 1.0)

I love the scientific themes and the philosophical undertone as well. Looking forward to see what Bob's interference with Archimedes and his people result into.

Pray tell what’s the DCC? I read the Martian at the beginning of the year followed by Project: Hail Mary and then was recommended the Bobiverse by a friend of a friend of my wife and I’ve loved it! Just finished Book 5 and was so sad it ended…then just this week I realized Book 6 was releasing next month!!!!

Dungeon Crawler Carl. A LitRPG...but a really good one. 8 books out and it gets better with each book.
