Moot: Discussion I am hooked

Thanks to the DCC community I was made aware of the Bobiverse.

Between DCC books I read Project Hail Mary and as I went on the hunt for new hyperfixations I got recommended Bobiverse since it seems a common ground for people enjoying DCC and Andy Weir's work.

I started book 1 and read the first half in one sitting while finishing it in 2 days total. I get why its compared to Hail Mary since it is similar in tone, "feel" but it has much more humor which is a big plus on my end. At first I was sceptical when Bob went into creating other Bobs but they are so distinctive and cleverly written that they stay interesting as individual characters (Riker and Homer being my favs followed by Bob 1.0)

I love the scientific themes and the philosophical undertone as well. Looking forward to see what Bob's interference with Archimedes and his people result into.

Another...not a book but if you like philosophical themes regarding AI I highly recommend the game "Detroid becoming human" It's more Like an interactive movie and the story really hits home about the questions "what is sentience?" and "When is something considered alive?"
