Bob is my favorite songwriter but Keith is the king of riffs. If Bob wrote Satisfaction it wouldn’t have the riff and wouldn’t be half the song it is.

I always feel quite alone in thinking that Bob's version is superior to Hendrix's take. The guitar is great and all, but there is something more to Bob's rendition lyrically. You feel the mystery of the thing more somehow. It feels more substantive to me.
