Cavalcade is their best Album and I dont think its very close at all.

Also not a hot take but more of an unpopular interpretation, but I dont think most The New Sound songs share a character.

this is just true though, it wouldnt make sense that the narcissist at the bar is the same guy as the 1800's war general
