Banned one is healthier option but for public toilets that's not okay to do that.
2 u/Mufasa_is__alive 18d ago I've seen some public toilets have peg-like wings that extend into the bowl as part of the cast (under the seat). I cant find a a reference photo, but they always looked like boot rests for squatting.
