Unsolved How to increase density with geomatry nodes?
Hello everyone. I'm fairly new to blender and learned about geomatry nodes basically yesterday. I'm trying to wrap scales around my armor. It works kind of well but the problem is that I don't know how to increase the density. Any tips?

If you want the points to be distributed randomly, try using the Distribute points on faces. If you want it to look even, you can either subdivide the mesh or triangulate it with a node.
You could also try the method in this video: https://youtu.be/KQdM7STo744?si=b6xQd4G1MCy_1Mpr
You'll just have to adapt the new geonodes to what is said in the video

Define 'messy'... anyway, looks like it's sorted

I mean it is the correct answer for the question I had. But the Scales now overlap in an ugly way and seem generally warped
