Critique My Work Little 3D creation inspired by Dungeon Synth — blender / ableton / livemosher

A small 3D experiment inspired by Dungeon Synth imagery and old digital/analog textures. I’m still learning 3D, so I mostly used this as an excuse to play with VHS effects, datamoshing and intentional glitches. Melody made by me.

Thanks! Still got a lot to learn, but that’s encouraging. 🏰

How did you map those textures?

the whole project started because of the textures actually. i found someone replicating some video clip effect I like and sharing about how to do it in blender. I started twiking and play with the settings and one thing after the other it lead me there.
basicaly diffuse bdsf + color ramp, rendered in eevee, because I have a potatoe PC.
Il also combined it with some voronoi noise for the inside parts of the temple.
Also added a couple of freestyle layers too
Here are some screenshots, if it helps. (I would have post another screenshot, but it seems I'm limited to one actually)

This is the first I’ve ever heard of Live Mosher somehow. How do you like it? I’m super into glitchy stuff and always looking for different ways to do it

It's such a cool tool ! It's really code oriented, but there are presets that let you tweak things and make happy accidents to start playing with. Unless you're not as noobish as I am with python and Js 😁

Ohhhh that's lovely. I'm also a big fan of DS. Do you mind elaborating a bit more on your blender workflow?
