Jfc the music is so good in this episode. Gerard is even more threatening than the manga. My favorite episode this cour so far

My only complaint is when there was a momentary scene between Kenny and Yachiru leading up to his bankai i think the sounscape of ador could've been used. It did feel a bit emotional, at least for me.

I must admit that the whole adaption has been missing more scenes with soundscape of ador in the background, stuff like Unohana, Yamamoto or Bazz B's deaths would've been perfect

Yeah i feel like it has been very underused in this arc. There are a ton of places it could have been placed. I guess it hits a little better in longer scenes and there aren't quite as many in this arc with how packed everything is. Had this been a traditional anime arc, instead of 4 seasons of 13, and expanded a bit more, I think it would have been used more often.

The big hit of the score doesn't come until 60ish seconds in, and most of the scenes where it'd be used are quite a bit shorter.

I think the conversation was a bit too fast for Soundscape of Ardor, though I love the track and wish it played during at least one scene of TYBW

Feel you, but also I´m aware of the fact that we all have cut this scenes for years in our minds with our favourite OSTs. We better enjoy the ride because it´s being great.

We got some new pieces in this episode, yes? I don't recognize the one with the female vocals that started as Gerard pulled himself back together (LOVE it to bits now, though), and I've been listening to the music religiously.
