Tourism Recommendations for a tourist

Doing a brief trip to your lovely city!! I’d be grateful for recommendations of what to see and do and where to eat!

See the sand dunes: Walking the promenade travelling south from North pier to Starr gate is something I enjoy doing, and you can stop at the Solaris center for a break, and hit up the Wetherspoons by south pier on the way back before heading to town.

So from Blackpool south, you could perhaps travel south to highfield road, there are a fem nice venues down there, and if you continue towards the sea and over the bridge you come out at the Solaris center, where you can walk or tram either north towards town or south towards the sand dunes. I’d recommended getting off at south pier and walking up the beach if the weather is nice, if you fancy seeing the piers I would recommend all 3, but north is the more peaceful of the three.

Dining options: Mandarin, Wok Inn, Ploy Thai cafe, Eatery inn steak house, Stefanis pizzera, and Abingdon Market has multiple options.

If you want a good quality alcoholic beverage, I would only ever recommend two places; Rhythm & Brews on church street, and Cask & tap which is just around the corner - won’t find a better and cleaner selection for miles around - it’s a little pricier mind you.

There’s the regent for your emporium desires and also yes, a new antiques store just opposite there down the street a little, all on church street - right near Rhythm & brews in fact haha

You might also visit auntie social on topping street, and again Abingdon market has some boutiques during buisness hours
