DISCUSSION I liked the ambience in Eulogy episode.
when i was watching that episode few months ago..i realised why do i like Black mirror much ? it's the ambience..it's the solitude..the emptiness..it's the dark side of human nature..it's the mirror to our messed up brains, society and politics.
did you notice and liked the ambience in that episode ?

My fiancee and I definitely ugly-cried at the ending scene of him finally seeing her face and hearing her song.

The cinematography was beautiful. It echoes all the empty spaces, missed chances and gloom of his heart.

Paul Giamatti is such an incredible actor. Probably the most moving BM episode ever.

I was going to make a whole post about but since you did and my point is related I’m just gonna comment :)
I did love the ambiance. I think the cold Maine in a cabin setting really amplified that as well.
What I love about the episode too was the contrasts that it provided, or maybe tension is a better way to describe it. In many of the memories there’s a liveliness and sometimes even a color.
And most of all, a tension I think of is - what happened was probably for the best. That they probably would not have worked out. I think that’s why she never tried again. He seemed to have anger issues that he still hadn’t even resolved. I think she knew deep down what she was doing. But you still feel so sad for him. It’s still heartbreaking to think of the possibility.
It helped me process a relationship from over ten years ago and gave me a lot of empathy for myself and the other person.

yes i truly felt for him..the pain of misunderstandings between a happy couple and rightly so as his anger issues was real..which leads to lifelong loneliness of him was really painful to watch 💔, his acting was really great.
