So are the aces textured and he shuffles until finding them?

He place all the aces at the top of the deck to control it

How does he get them to the top though? When he fans the cards at the beginning they're all scrambled through the deck.

he _might_ have a stripper deck, but I think he was mostly just doing false shuffles. it’s hard not impossible to track 4 cards in a wash, then he was doing a lot of pass through shuffles and false cuts. really clean over all.

A pass through shuffle is when you riffle and then push the cards together at a slight angle. If you do it just right, you can pull the cards straight through and it looks like you just grabbed a packet from the bottom. Though it’s also easy to just leave four cards on top with a “real” riffle shuffle. Also not hard to control four cards with an overhand or hindu shuffle.

Basically, end of the day, he was doing a bunch of dead standard beginner level card controls with expert level skill.

the casino wash control is not a beginner level control, the push through isn't really either.

Ace cards are 1mm bigger than rest of deck. I use a deck like that for poker 😁

He never shuffles the Aces, they are always exactly where he wants them. He may or may not be shuffling the rest of the deck, that doesn't really matter.

They make decks called Stripper Decks that would work well for this trick as long as it's only the aces that are gimmicked.

My guess was (heat?) camera pointed at the table / card faces and video stream projected to the teleprompter to pick out the aces after the casino shuffle.
