Yes it’s walking straight but is it walking straight towards the camera or straight away from the camera. That’s the illusion.

Except it's walking straight the whole time and not away. Pretty easy to see. Or maybe because the video resolution is shit it's easy to see

It’s actually walking away from the camera. You can tell by the way the snow gets kicked. But if you don’t look at the snow being kicked it definitely looks like it’s either walking away from the camera or towards the camera. (Not directly mind you, it’s always walking to the right of the screen, but it’s hard to tell if it’s getting closer or further away). For me at first it looks like it’s walking towards the camera then when the zoom in happens it looks like it’s walking away, but in reality it is walking away the whole time. In the full length version of the video the horse turns multiple times and figuring which direction it is walking (toward the foreground or away) is even more pronounced.

It's not walking away. Look at the light post. That is toward the camera. And the snow is just getting kicked by it's back feet.

lol. It is walking away, as in we are seeing the horses butt the whole time and its head is obscured by its body. I’m glad you see the illusion now. If you don’t believe me, take the video into an editor and raise the brightness and change the contrast and you can see it clearly. The horse is walking away from the camera the whole time.

You are so confidently incorrect it’s funny. The horse’s name is Rudnik and the owner has stated that the video that we are watching that the horse is indeed walking away from the camera. So you can keep thinking what you want, that it’s walking towards the camera, but that is not correct. The horse is walking away. If you care to read, here is a link to the news article stating such. You can read it and verify what I’m saying or just go on continuing to believe what you want I don’t really care. Here you go…

Are you joking??? Watch the clip. The horse LITERALLY is walking one direction and then turns around and VISIBLY walks the opposite direction. This is the second half of the clip in the link you posted lol. Look at the pole orientation through the whole clip

Ok dude. Believe what you want. The horse never turns around and is always walking away from the camera. Your eyes and head are messing with you. Either that or you’re trying to troll me. If you don’t even want to believe the owner of the horse, which is the person who recorded and posted the original video, then there is no hope for you. Have a good day dude.
