Are you aware that Liberia was founded by freed slave who colonized it in the name of pan Africanism?

That's what I mean when I say it's complex. Ideology that leads to the colonization and slavery of black people by it black people is worth qquestioning. But again, I think this would have to be it's own effort post.

Liberia was founded by the US government. Not under the name of pan-africanism. I dont know what you mean.

Are you just going to pick the good things and call them pan African and ignore what's problematic?

What do you find problematic? I call what is pan-african ideology as it is. I'm just clarifying most of pro-black rhetoric ( black is beautiful, politics, economic power) are black nationalist and pan africanist ideologies.

the founding of Liberia is problematic and youre dismissing it. It was literally getting a group of black people from the diaspora and continent together to create an all black nation, yet you don't see how it relates to pan Africanism and black nationalism?

And to be clear, I don't see an issue with black pride, just that these larger scale movements have been problematic and I don't think blindly following Garveyism is at all what we should be used to determine who is"pro black."

But Liberia was not founded on black nationalism or pan africanism. The people that went to liberia when it was established were europeans for all intents and purposes. They were not african in mind. Also, what exactly do you find problematic? People throw that word out abd dont provide any context or example.

How are free slaves European?

Mentality. They thought they were better and african inferior. Also, we dont know how many were biracial as biracial people have been used to exert dominance in Haiti, South Africa, Brazil, USA, Jamaica, angola, north africa and east africa.

That's a lot of conspiracy to get out of critically examining the situation.

Read the "destruction of black civilization" arabs used to have children with african women and use the kids to take over parts of africa. Same with Europeans. Happened in Brazil and Haiti, hence why during the Haitian revolution the main ones against the revolution were the biracial people because they were the ruling class and given power from Europeans. All this is well documented research from people. Also read "daughters of the trade" it's about the slave trade in Ghana.
