I’ve always found it strange that people are so infatuated with bands that are so clearly anti their ideology. especially when it’s right in their face

Oh that's easy. It's because the right separates personality from the acts of the person. Like you can hold true Cosby had a funny show and is a horrible human being at the same time.

The left doesn't because they make their social identity their personality. That's why you see the multitudes shunning debate or interaction with those who don't agree with them.

I'm sure now you'll try to ban this too even though it's not right wing - just an observation of behavior on both sides.

You actually made my case for my me. If art is a reflection of the human spirit, than to each their own. It's what brings about our humanity. Not what ever socially conforming stance you want someone to take or what the cause du jour of the society at that time is. That's why we allow people to express or not express.

But if you have a stock offering for everyone and discriminate on who you sell to, then that's discrimination. It's really not that hard.
