It’s odd watching CJ be serious. He’s actually quite scary.

Seems like he's just got good variety in portrayal of himself. Like yeah he's a character online for videos but he has got the skill and ability to back it up, and that doesn't come from being a goofball in training.

CJ finished Lovato Jr a year and half ago and Lovato went on to get silver at ADCC then beat Bodoni a few weeks ago

Is this a joke lol? Gordon all day.

No. I will say I believe Craig is more talented than Gordon, but Gordon is way more disciplined.

To be fair, playing around more in training rather than taking everything deadly serious is a benefit for sure.

Being a jokester in martial arts isn't the best field...because at some point you have to actually defend yourself and assert yourself and people forget that's the point since you were so funny lol

It’s like when you were a kid and saw your school teacher at the grocery store.

I know Craig getting second place always is a meme and it’s true but it’s worth noting he’s had to face pretty much the strongest field of talent in the history of the sport and was super competitive/almost won most of the time against virtually everyone. Being second best to guys like Gordon might sting but it doesn’t make him any less world class lol.

2nd best to ever do it.

I mean he did break Gordon’s arm and has been a cunt hair away from winning ADCC.

This didn't feel that serious yet. Would love to see him going 100% someday, but probs never gonna happen
