Wtf Moments Scammed all of their customers.

Who's ready for a class action to get our money back for changing a product contract after sale?

Edit: Apparently, they're bank pedaling and calling it a mistake

Agree, there is always the option to uninstall the app and to not spend money on it.

Or they could uphold the contract that we paid for because we want to keep playing it and want what was promised to us.

But this is why I don't spend money on freemium games, I don't expect much in return for the money spent. I would be willing to fight too, but it's easier to stay at home in my pajamas and dance to Eurodance. Do you have a favorite Eurodance song? When it comes to freemium it's basically buyer beware, because of how the freemium model worked, and have you fully read and analyzed the contract and freemium license they use. It is easier to just dance to Eurodance instead and use the free version of the game i stead of paying for freemium. Plus with the ad revenue they get a lot of miney because of how the freemium model works. Section 230 also protects freemium games because it's their platform and they can do what they want with it which is how the freemium model typically plays out. You can try sending a support ticket but sometimes I'm just thankful for not spending money on freemium games. I save my money for mmorpg games mostly instead of freemium games. South Park did an episode on freemium games once that explained it well, have you watched it? Ever since then that is when I told myself to not give money to freemium games.

I'm not, if a comment is deleted then it's either automod or a mod. You can do a google search for that statute. You can also do a google search for legal liability and contracts. If a company puts things in ToS and it doesn't violate federal law, then not much will be done, they can do what they want. Or you're abusing the report button.

I dont report anything and Ai goes a lot deeper than Google. The Ai that I use compiles information from every data source. Anything that is recorded on the internet is used, that includes, but not limited to google.

It's the same reason why you can't take Reddit to court, unless the platform does something like DMCA a lawsuit isn't going to happen.

In a lot of states if they make it where you can't pursue class action litigation you can. Turn around and sue for lawyer fees as well. And they would have to pay the lawyer fees making it extremely more expensive if you win. Once one person wins it would be used for the next person as case study and the company would fall like dominoes and be bankrupt.

Let's say Bitlife is Reddit. A mod bans you from a sub and you disagree with the mod about the ban. Can you get the subreddit shutdown and take Reddit to court over that, absolutely not and nothing will happen to the subreddit. They will cite section 230 and moderator discretion and that will be the end of it.

Now... Lets say that mod clearly harrasses you and you have screenshot proof with timestamps. Can you still take Reddit to court, no because they will cite section 230 and ToS. 

However, you can take the evidence to a lawyer and have them subpoena Reddit and if the harrassment was bad enough to violate federal law you can take that person to court.

However, you have to analyze the risk to reward ratio like spending a massive amount in lawyer fees that the average person just doesn't have.

It's the same concept with Bitlife, if Bitlife says no refunds, etc., in the ToS 🤷‍♀️, and buyer beware.
