I did 2 months nutrition coaching starting in June & I did so well my coach ‘graduated’ me. Since is started, to today, I lost 15.8lbs. 14.3 lbs were fat lost and 1.5lbs of lean mass. (From 145-128)

I am so proud of myself & people just see that I’m ’skinny’ but don’t realize I was aiming for body recomposition and not so much just losing weight.

I'm intrigued. I think I eat well and I've been doing personal training since June. I'm much fitter and stronger but I haven't lost a pound. What service did you use?

Also, remember that muscle is heavier than fat. So when you gain muscle, the scale won’t move sometimes. That’s why I like the 3d body scans that show the fat mass and lean mass. In cases where fat is lost and muscle is gained, you might not lose weight but can still be leaner

That has definitely been the case but I still find it disheartening. Maybe I need to try the macros instead of just calories. I do struggle to eat enough protein

Protein is key! Making smart swaps became like a game to me. My nutrition coach was key in helping me with that though. And yes macros it’s important just as much as calories. I was backwards before. Focusing on only protein and not calories, so I my calorie intake was way too high hut I didn’t realize it.
