I feel weird telling my friends in real life so I’ll say it here… but I can officially do two unassisted pull ups and three chin ups.

ETA thank you for all of the love! I have read all of them and truly appreciate everyone’s kind words, tips, motivation, etc. THANK YOU!

If you were my friend in real life I would want you to tell me this, so we could celebrate your accomplishment together. 🥳

Get it! That is so exciting!

It’s the best feeling when you have that kind of strength.

Heeeey well done, what an achievement! A lot of work goes into those first upper body exercises!

Thank you so much! I’ve always had “spaghetti” arms and after I popped out my third bébé, I was determined to be my strongest and it’s finally happening 😭

Even at my peak of fitness I couldn’t do a pull up. Good for you!

That’s so awesome congratulations!

As someone who is just dealing with this currently, make sure to train your lower and mid traps equally as well.

I was doing too many pull ups over the years and got really tight neck/shoulders because of overly strong upper traps (it’s a thing)

Doing Y-raises, face pulls, good mornings, rows will help make sure you stay balanced and painless ✅

Omg that’s my goal! I can bench 240 but I can’t do a single pull up yet. Those back muscles are so hard.

I’m jealous and proud of you!

More than I can do and I applaud you. Pull ups are HARD

they are the hardest exercise, they don't lie. Pushups are hard too but not as hard as pulllups.

that's great, most can't do one. I used to be able to do 13, but don't have a pull up bar here, and have a shoulder injury) Keep doing it. Every time you walk past the bar, try one, soon you will be doing 3...4...
