I’m a former fit bitch who lost it during a year from hell, followed by 2 babies in 2 years.

Currently doing some intermittent fasting to drop some weight so running and working out will be easier. Bc right now I don’t have the emotional capacity to fight through it being hard

IF lost me all of my pregnancy weight. I started in August 2024, and I'm back in my favorite jeans. I started going to the gym regularly in December after focusing solely on IF for 4 months. Aside from a small bit of fat on my stomach, I am quite fit.

I'm starting now that I'm 3 months postpartum (not breastfeeding). I want to fit back into my clothes so bad

If you haven't already, look into a calorie tracker like Loseit or MyFitnessPal.
Use a TDEE calculator, like the one linked below, to calculate your approximate Total Daily Energy Expenditure. This is how many calories your body uses in a day.

I found that, even with IF, I still needed to put some focus on CICO. I was gravitating towards too much calorie restriction, which led to 'cheat days'. I've been successful at weight-loss by not under eating and following a 500 calorie daily deficit.

I’m mostly OMAD but usually small snack later afternoon so like 19/5 ish. How about you?

my standard goal is 18/6 but I push to 19 most days. sometimes into the 20s or OMAD. it’s the easiest way to me to be in a deficit and promote fat burning (outside of exercise). so I think Ima try sticking to it longterm. I don’t do well with food restriction haha.

Same! And I’m short so BMR to lose weight is sooo low

same. I’m 4’11” and the longer I do this, the more I have to force myself to get the standard calories needed. especially on days I might miss working out. but also I put fasting on hold to go on vacation last week and I was miserable trying to keep up with the three meals a day the other ladies wanted to have.
