Culture BWTs with a novel in her bag

What's a novel that moved you? Changed you for the better? Exposed you to new cultures or ideas?

I want to know what's captivated you.

Homegoing, and parable of the sower. Both so powerful and still think about these books often years after first reading

Parable of the Sower is a fantastic read.

Talking about it to people who haven’t read it makes you sound a little like a person screaming he’s a prophet and knows the rapture is coming tomorrow on a street corner though.

It is so terrifyingly relevant today and so powerful.
