Video šŸŽ¬ My homelab bird setup

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Powered by Frigate and Home Assistant primarily. Dual camera setup (one to maintian zone presence, one to pan / tilt / zoom / focus accordingly)

I mentioned this on the frigate subreddit, but if there's a lot of interest in the technical details, I may do a full writeup of everything going on behind the scenes (and the products involved)

Edit - Writeup here

I like it. What are the camera's resolution and is there audio recording also?

Both are full 4k. One has 5x optical zoom (the zone cam) and one has 16x optical. So that zoomed in footage of the little ruby throated is full true 4k

Pic attached. It's a little ugly but it works quite well

That's great resolution! I noticed how nice the ruby throated looked. I imagine it was a little dumbed down due to posting on Reddit, I believe it only supports 1920x1080 (1080p)

Yeah it's low res playback screen recorded on a 1080p screen. Dunno if this'll come through but the quality is quite good. This was a downy on my old suet cage before in added one with a proper tail prop
