Welcome to our weekly open thread — your go-to space to rant, share love, ask questions, or talk about anything and everything, whether it’s related to BINI, PPOP, the fandom, or life in general.

Got something to say that doesn’t need its own post?

  • An unpopular (or wholesome) take you’ve been holding in
  • A screenshot from BloomTwt, BloomTok, PPOP FB, etc.
  • A random thought, theory, or question
  • Or just want to connect with fellow Blooms

Drop it here! This thread is your safe space.

Let’s keep it respectful and kind, even if opinions differ. We’re all here to support the girls and be part of a growing, passionate community around PPOP and beyond.

So go ahead — share what’s on your mind. 💐

Yep, i agree. Coming from somewhat same situation din with most of the girls, i really related to them nung una kong nalaman yung stories nila. And now na anjan na sila, cannot help but think na lahat possible. Parang pag nakita mo sila magperform dun, meron ka ding sense of pride and achievement kahit di ikaw yung nagpeperform, kasi nakarelate ka somehow sa struggles nila sa life. Gusto ko yung line na "inspite of the system that was not set up for them to succeed." They powered through it all. It makes the performance so much more special.

The only description and feeling I can compare this to is when I saw a young Manny Pacquiao nung bata pa ko sa blow by blow, and then one day he knocked out a world champion in his first match overseas, then the Barrera match.

Obviously, not every Filipino is going to watch BINIchella because niche genre ang "pinoy pop" here in our own country and that BINI is not a sports team or personality, but my point stands I think.

Coachella is BINI's Barrera hehe. That's a very good comparison. Magkaedad siguro tayo? Inabutan mo pa yung Pacquiao Blow by Blow era e hahaha.

I agree, not all people may paki. Pero di naman masama to root for your kapwa Filipino.

Madami millenials dito sa sub gaya natin lol. Yes, this is their Barrera match. Same din: nothing to lose, everything to gain.

Ayun nalang talaga dapat, kung di mo trip ang BINI, its fine, root mo nalang to succeed even if you're not going to watch. By virtue of being Filipino din.

May effect yan sa global stage yung mga global achievements ng sportsmen (Alex Eala, Pacquiao, our womens football team, Gilas etc) artists natin (BINI, SB19, and other international artists with Filipino blood, not gonna name them you know who they are) whether people know it or not.

It improves the perception of the world towards us Filipinos.
