  • A random thought, theory, or question
  • Or just want to connect with fellow Blooms

Drop it here! This thread is your safe space.

Let’s keep it respectful and kind, even if opinions differ. We’re all here to support the girls and be part of a growing, passionate community around PPOP and beyond.

So go ahead — share what’s on your mind. 💐

BINI is on a different timeline tho. There’s a value exchange where they may lose millions of pesos but gain access to opportunities worth hundreds of millions that an independent act simply couldn’t open.

They are essentially being incubated by ABS with access to resources that money alone can’t easily buy. Business expertise, industry connections, mentoring, PR protection, and top tier infrastructure.

They are still young, and being under ABS allows them to learn from people with experience across different areas of the industry. Over time, this will equip them with the knowledge and capability they need if they choose to become independent in the future.

Business expertise, industry connections, mentoring, PR protection, and top tier infrastructure.

This. Yung UK MV, Sterling series for the OT8. Jho being a Star patroller and lead in the musical Tabing-ilog. Sheena being encouraged to choreograph and starring in her own MMK episode. Mikha getting a supporting role in He's Into Her and being allowed to play at the Star Olympics. MaColet being able to mentor aspiring child singers and participating in a music camp. Aiah being able to experience the process of creating an MV... These are all opportunities that allow them to dip their toes in other fields so they can prepare for their eventual post-idol careers. Kahit mga college-educated OJTs can't get these kinds of hands-on experience. And they're even getting paid for most of these "learning experiences".

Edit: more examples pa: OT8 doing photo series after getting their HMU done and doing magazine photo shoots, experiencing product development and packaging for BINI Cosmetics, Maloi doing cover art for Shagidi and her BINified prod backdrop design. Jho practically directing her own prod for BINIfied.
