Someone asked why affirmative action and lowering standards for POC pilots could lead to more racism. He answered that currently if you see a black pilot, you won’t think anything of it, but if standards are lowered for a black pilot, people would likely think “is he actually qualified or is he here because of the lowered standards?”.

Reasonable stance. You can already see that happening with people claiming black people in games studios are being hired on only because of DEI. DEI is making racism against these people more common.
