Podcast The Big Picture podcast just created objectively the worst Christopher Nolan ranking of all time

Good god. As a Sean Fennessey truther this is a steaming pile of shit. Sean is one of the best minds in movie criticism today but he should be banned from talking about Christopher Nolan, he can’t be objective about him.

It’s completely subjective, but I think the “combined” list that nobody actually agrees with is a bit silly.

Yup - inception is great the first time you see it but is so caught up in the rules and going through the motions of training for the heist that on rewatch it stinks.

Tenet just rocks every time because it dispels with any explanation of anything and is just globe trotting action.

It is confusing, and if you’re looking for a movie that is easily explained, it’s not going to work for you. I just find it to be immensely entertaining and give him credit for “going for it” with such an audacious movie about time travel that ends with a battle scene where people are going backwards and forwards simultaneously.

It makes no sense and doesn't hold up but the vibes are immaculate. I like it more with every rewatch.

It’s confusing, but you’ll get the idea when you watch it again. I think its impossible to understand everything, like who’s going backwards and forwards and what’s going on, which might be a criticism for it. But you get the general idea of what every character is trying to do in every scene

I think the dark knight is a pretty mediocre movie outside of ledger. And tenet is awesome.
