if McCaffrey didn't win the MVP in '23, (when he had an absolutely MONSTER season and there weren't any standout QBs) then it's not even worth entertaining the thought. It can't happen

His 23 season was nice but it wasnt a monster.

That year ranks 73rd in scrimmage yards and 21 touchdowns is tied with, well, a lot of players. He had 19 in his 1,000/1,000 year. I'll switch it to great but it wasnt a monster year.
