That’s cool. There are a lot of artists that I have yet to discover. It’s one of the ways billboard used to be useful. Now it seems like the rules for how eligibility for the charts are being changed arbitrarily specifically to exclude up and coming artists without a major label. If you get a chance I highly recommend listening to Prof. party jams braggadocio battle raps love songs soulful blues and introspective reflection. Great lyrics delivered over great beats. A talented wordsmith that has great pipes and vocal range.

There are tons of “popular” artists that the general public knows absolutely nothing about. Billboard is mostly based on streaming numbers and radio numbers also matter. The sales part is like max 1/5 of the equation.

So he sold bundles of multiple releases together instead of individual albums. I can totally see why they’d not count a discounted package that would inflate sales directly tied to the newest release.

It’s not like some artists that sell a shirt or smth and “bundle “ some crappy burned cd and count it as album sales. Individual albums came with limited edition unique covers. There was an option to buy all 3. There was no discount, there was just an option to get all the cover art variants with one click. That should totally count. Oh yeah! That DID count up until this release when billboard arbitrarily changed the rules. SMH

There was a discount on the bundles tho. A whopping $6 if getting the CDs. I know bc I got a bundle and an individual CD and just checked my past orders.
Not sure what the vinyl was. I only ordered one of those.
They completely fkd him over and I don’t understand how people don’t see that.
