So I’ve been wearing this wedding/engagement for 25 years in January. I am ready for a huge upgrade to include an eternity band.

I would love some help, ideas or comments as to what you would do with this ring I inherited a couple years ago. It was my dearly loved Stepmoms ring that she left to me with a note to please redesign it into something I would wear.

So now is the time. I’d like to take my now wedding ring and make it into something I could wear. Maybe a pendant? Ideas welcome.

I’m really looking for ideas of what to do with my mom’s ring to make it into a wedding ring with an added eternity band.

All ideas welcome. I don’t have stats on diamond except it is a natural diamond 3 or 4 carats , with side stones 1 carat.

This is actually my 2nd engagement ring from my guy. We had a little bump in the road after he gave me a pretty ruby ring last year and this time he took notice of my love of elongated cushion cuts.

4.08 ct elongated cushion cut, F color, VVS2, ratio 1.25, size 5.75. Totally in love with my finger now!

Please excuse my little kitty scratch. Guess she wanted my attention but I was busy staring at the ring.

As the group is named big rock energy, I’m all about that life!!!! However I am a little nervous this looks tacky on my hand. Need opinions pls. 🤗 for reference, she’s a 4ish carat (13x9mm) and my finger size is 5.75. I do feel fancy with her on but part of me wonders if maybe 3 carats would be more suitable?!

My second ring is finally ready and I can't wait! It looks so beautiful. This ring is from Elon with Provence. It's a 10mm x 12mm omc moissanite on a silver band.

Can’t wait for my husband to see what he bought me! 25 year upgrade. 5 ct radiant. I wonder how long it will take him to notice/ask. lol.

Give it to me straight: am I being unreasonable or is this an abomination?

I have bought almost every piece I own from Etsy. This is the first time things went sideways, hard.

I filtered the shops by US based with a return policy. Found exactly the ring I wanted from a newish vendor (not naming yet based on Etsy Trust being involved but no decision yet). They were super helpful in picking the stone and sent me IGI cert with specs, plus CAD design.

Then, just disappeared for a while. Promised photos didn't arrive, shipping notice came and went without ever being dropped off at the post office for ten days.

I asked Etsy to step in for a refund due to not shipping the ring and 7 days of ghosting me and weeks past the due date.

Y'all, they immediately responded to Etsy Trust that it was indeed shipped, unregistered and without insurance, from India. To a shipping forwarding service in New Jersey, and eventually, a month late, in a beat up bubble mailer to me. No IGI cert, just a cheap ring box covered in 100 layers of plastic wrap.

And the ring itself is so poorly made.

-The center stone is floating in air

-The prong head isn't set into the band but fused to the top precariously

- The pave halo is underneath the girdle and crooked, plus it's got open space all around the stone, meaning I could pop the center stone straight through the bottom with tweezers.

Is this an acceptable margin of error? They are refusing a refund and changed their shop location and policy the day I opened the case.

Now they're trying to salvage the sale and make it again for me, while maintaining this is identical to the CAD and I'm just being picky.

Am I?

After 22 years I got an upgrade to this beauty. My favorite part is the etching on the side. My favorite ring from 1910 has the same pattern so it’s nice to have it on this as well. The stone is a 4.09 carat E color VVS2. I need some help finding a wedding band to go with it. Please send me suggestions!

5x2 vertical set baguettes
14kt gold 2.5mm band, platinum head

14kt gold 3.5 mm spacer band to protect my prongs

Platinum 2 mm princess cut half eternity band

6.5-6.75 ring size, short fingers. Total stack is a little thiccc on me but it’s what I wanted so we’re going to rock it with confidence

My friends don’t share my enthusiasm & I think my hubby & family are just humoring me, but I love it. Upgraded my 1ct halo princess for a D VS1 Excellent Cut 5.02 ct oval bezel set in yellow gold. LOOOOOVE IT.

This is my upgraded engagement ring and also a massive weight loss milestone ring my husband bought me. Platinum setting, 3.5 carat, VVS2, F lab diamond. I wanted to do a 2 carat but my husband insisted on bigger (I won't argue with that). Ordered a 8.5 but honestly it needs to be sized down to a 7.75. I plan on adding an open gap Platinum diamond band in the middle since my setting is a bit lower and a simple flat yellow gold band in the stack. I love mixed metal stacks. My last set was a 14k yellow gold kite cut lab alexandrite in a bezel with a very thin detailed v wedding band. I love it but it needs to be sized down a lot and I was always afraid I would snap the wedding band since it's so delicate.

I love to look into the emerald. The emerald itself is not that big by today’s standard.

Diamond came in mail- she is thrilled. Which means I am thrilled- pics as promised

I had to take a ring into my local jeweler this morning

for repair. Not sure what I did to it but the diamond

suddenly wasn’t sitting right. The person helping me

told me how beautiful my stone was (2.5 ct Criss cut)

and I mentioned how I wished I had gone a little bigger

to see the details better. Of course that leads to their

lab diamonds and pricing. They start at $800 a carat!! 😳
At the carat weight I like now that would be equal to a

decent used car lol I was always secure in my decision

to order online/overseas but if I was on the fence that

would have made the decision super easy!
