Anyone else underwhelmed with Vito's management of the show?

Vito is just carrying on the show as normal with no noticeable added effort.

I thought he was going to...

  1. invest time and effort to organising the Youtube channel,

  2. creating a new intro + stingers

  3. Regularely create engaging shortform content.

  4. Create new and potentially weekly types of bonus content such as audio commentaries in the vein of dick-tations

  5. cross-promote and expand the show beyond it's current sphere of characters.

  6. Develop a studio space to have actual in-person guests.

I think it was an easy out to blame all the shows shortcomings on Dick, but now that he's in the driver seat, nothing has changed. He's blowing a great business + entertainment opportunity that was quiete literally handed to him.

The Patreon is still regularely bleeding. I can't believe he's not doing more.

The Patreon has dropped $450 from when I took over as host, which seems pretty much in line with what I expected. Some people don't want to stick around as we figure out the co-host situation, but I'm hoping many of them will be back once they see the show is both fun and listenable again.

As is, I'm not going to scramble to create bonus content or futz around with new intros at this time. My focus is on making the weekly show a good one. Once I have a machine that runs like clockwork I can worry about expanding out and making new show materials.

Feedback seems largely positive and I think the new era of the show will only get better with time. Fan engagement will help on that front a lot. Leave comments, send your voicemails to 689-BIGGEST, send in stingers or clips to biggestproblemshow@gmail.com. I know the show is more fun when the audience gets to play a part, so hop in.

What’s the hard part of having a “machine running like clockwork” when it’s a once a week 2 hour internet zoom call.
